UPDATED April 28: The Philharmonic Society of Arlington plans to present its annual Sponsors' Concert with the Arlington-Belmont Chorale and the Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the First Parish Unitarian-Universalist Church, 630 Mass. Ave., Arlington.

Conducting these groups are Music Directors Barry Singer and Orlando Cela, and Assistant Choral Conductor Sarah Robinson Seeber, a news release said.

Tickets are to be purchased at the door on Saturday. General admission is $20; seniors/college students $15; children ages 16 and younger $5.

To attend the concert, masks must be worn. This venue is wheelchair-accessible. 

This concert will also be live-streamed, the link will be posted the day of the event on the organization website: www.psarlington.org.

The program includes:

Scherzo Fantastique, Op. 25 by Josef Suk;

"Two Sacred Choruses" and "Verleih uns Frieden" by Felix Mendelssohn;

"Rest" by Ralph Vaughan Williams; and

Te Deum, Op. 103 by Antonin Dvorak, with soloists Mara Walker, soprano, and Marcus Schenck, baritone. Walker is the choral music director at Arlington High School.

The Philharmonic Society of Arlington is supported this year in part by grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
