The location had its  grand opening on July 23 and was fully open July 27.

In a news release, he said the new location is designed to give members a luxurious, private space to train with some of Boston’s top trainers. The gym has state-of-the-art equipment and offers personal training as well as group exercise.

Personal training is set by appointment, based on what works for the customer – early in the morning or later in the evening.

Back Bay Fit matches each individual with the correct trainer, whether they are looking to train for flexibility or strength, or to train with a male or a female. The location has trained clients as young as 13 years old or as old as 75. Back Bay designs a training program for each individual member.

Back Bay Fit's base offering is its Get Tone Boot Camp class.

The business also offers a kettlebell class, which is a blend of a boot-camp class and a traditional cross-fit-style class … however we use the kettlebell primarily.

It offers a 10-round kickbox class. In this class, typical kickboxing meets boot camp. Members go through 10, four-minute rounds of punching, kicking, pushups and a lot of sweat.

Finally, leading into the school year is a strength/conditioning program for local student athletes, to help them stay in shape while taking a season off from a sport. The programs is eight to 10 weeks long, meeting two to three days per week.

After finishing at Curry College and working a few years in the real world, Rindone decided to make fitness his career, in 2007. He is especially excited to have opened Back Bay Fit in Arlington and is looking to bring some new fitness options to Arlington.

He has been training individual clients in Arlington since 2008 and running his boot camp in Arlington since 2009, primarily at the Arlington Boys' & Girls' Club.

He told YourArlington that has been renting space at various spots in Arlington for eight years for personal training. "I have been running my base class, boot camp out of the Boys' & Girls' Club for seven years till recently," he wrote.

Back Bay Fit of Arlington is offering special starter packages for new members looking to try out the gym. Every member interested in personal training will receive a free consultation and two training sessions for just $99.

All future members interested in group programs can take classes for 30 days for just $30. Visit the website >>
