Food, beer, music and art works of many sorts are what the Roasted Granola Café, in cooperation with Arlington Brewing Co. and Arts Arlington, has been serving up Nov. 30, through today, Saturday, Dec. 30.

With the Select Board having approved the necessary licensing late last month, ABC says it will have the following each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 to 9:30 p.m. for buyers 21 and older: "We'll be pouring town favorites including Spy-P-A, Jedermann and Zwolfand will be introducing new brews to the lineup such as Marley's Ghost Christmas Ale. We are excited to bring the community together this holiday season and look forward to seeing friends and family as they enjoy a pint or two."

Food, music, art plans described

Co-owner of the venue at 1346 Mass. Ave., Emily Patel, recently emailed YourArlington with a detailed description of food and entertainment for the ongoing "Friday Nights at TRG" created in concert with ArtLinks Arlington founder Lidia Kenig Scher.

"Our menu for the pop-up evenings [when ABC will serve beer] will evolve as we discover how to best serve the holiday crowd. We will start with mostly grab-n-go items such as focaccia bread, simple cheese sandwiches, mixed nuts, salads, potato chips and popcorn. The first weekend we will close our full kitchen at our regular closing time (5 p.m.) and offer a modified menu for the beer pop-up. Again, the menu will possibly change depending on the crowds’ preferences. We will have music on Friday evenings and artisan vendors on Saturday evenings."

The music lineup for Friday nights 7 to 9 p.m. was the following:
Dec. 1 - Better Late (folk duets)
Dec. 15 - The C#s (jazz)
Dec: 22 - Gary Goldsmith (Americana/blues/folk music composer, singer and guitarist)
