plug-in.png "Plug In @ The Robbins" invited the public to a free presentation about income management and financial planning, especially for those approaching retirement. On Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m., recently retired financial adviser Maureen Igoe led this event at Robbins Library.

According to a news release, Igoe planned to discuss ways to manage money both before and after retirement.

The release notes that Igoe plans to address the "alphabet soup" of financial planning, including CFPs, CRPCs, IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s and RMDs. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions.

The ongoing cultural/educational program "Plug In @ The Robbins" is targeted to, but not restricted to, people age 50 and older. It is made possible thanks to the John F. Barry and Margaret O'C. Barry Memorial Fund.
