The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra has announced that its annual fall concert is scheduled for today, 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 630 Mass. Ave. 

Led by Music Director Orlando Cela, the orchestra plans to perform the "Overture in C Major" by Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel, the "Symphony No. 9" in E-flat Major, Op. 70" by Dmitri Shostakovich and George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F featuring pianist Chi-Chen Wu.

Tickets are expected to be sold at the door, priced at $20 for general admission, $15 for students and seniors and $5 for children 17 and under. This concert is set to be live-streamed on the organization's website the day of the concert.

According to its website, The Philharmonic Society of Arlington endeavors to provide performances of the widest range of classical and contemporary works to community audiences in accessible settings.
