Mystic heat image

Where do folks feel the heat in Arlington? Wicked Cool Mystic, a community project by the Arlington-based Mystic River Watershed Association, wants to know.

Aiming to design solutions helping people in Arlington stay cool as summer heat increases, the group is now asking residents to complete a short survey and attend a workshop.

The survey asks where people feel the hottest in Arlington, among other questions. Seeking responses from Arlington residents of all backgrounds, the survey is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, simplified Chinese, Vietnamese and Haitian Creole. Reach it here >>

The group is also organizing an interactive workshop, set for 6 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the Arlington Community Center, 20 Academy St., to brainstorm cooling solutions with other members of the Arlington community.

All ages are welcome. The event is free, and food will be provided for all participants, a news release said.
