UPDATED April 9: The Arlington School Committee Standing Subcommittee, Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC), met at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, for an in-person meeting at the Arligton Public Schools District Office, 14 Mill Brook Dr. on the second floor.

SEPAC states that it is a parent group that acts as a resource for parents and advises the district regarding meeting the needs of students with disabilities. The group provides support and networking opportunities for parents and guardians of children with disabilities, and it offers workshops and guest speakers to help parents become better informed about special-education issues. SEPAC meets regularly with school officials to participate in the planning, development and evaluation of special-education programs in the public schools.
