The Arlington School Committee is set to meet at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Sept. 21. As usual, this is to be a hybrid meeting, both in-person and remotely, at Arlington High School's committee room on the sixth floor of 869 Mass. Ave. 

Tonight's meeting is scheduled to include student representatives and information about new administrative hires. And, as part of the planned Wellness Department report,  there may be explanation of the 4th and 5th grade human growth and development curricula/lessons -- colloquially known as sex-ed -- which have been a bit controversial in the recent past. As well, several policies are scheduled to come up on their "second read" and could be adopted.

This is to be the final meeting for September, as the School Committee returns to its usual twice-monthly meeting schedule. The next regular meeting is planned for Oct. 23.
